Leadership connection in sports medicine
Apriori World’s client, Health Clinic Terme Selce achieved the new business success by signing the cooperation agreement with the Austrian clinic Gelenkpunkt.
The Gelenkpunkt clinic is specialized in the most complex and the most advanced reconstructive operations of the hip, knee, shoulder and sports injuries. On the other hand, Terme Selce Clinic is specialized in post-surgery rehabilitation.
During the past seven years, they have been working together on the recovery of the top athletes after the surgery with an aim of their return to professional sport.
Two clinics invested their energy and knowledge in the recovery of athletes like Marko Arapović, Luka Babić, Janica Kostelić and many other soccer players and skiers, as well as in preparations for the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi 2014.
On the occasion of agreement signing, Dr. Vlasta Brozičević from Terme Selce Clinic said: „ We are proud and honored because of the confirmation of this successful cooperation. Working with the top experts-specialists of the Sports Traumatology, like Dr. Christian Ferk guarantees remarkable results in recovery from sports injuries. The fact that we have been cooperating for years, is a confirmation of the excellent results, rehabilitation, international respect, and trust. Continued cooperation will improve health tourism and fill the hotel capacities with the sports programs after the season because the athletes will be spending their time during the rehabilitation partly in Austria and partly in Selce.
During the meeting in Innsbruck, there has been organized a workshop on the implementation of the new methodologies in sports medicine and rehabilitation with an aim of effective recovery of the patients of these clinics. The new methodology will be implemented in both clinics during the autumn.
On this meeting was Head of the Terme Selce Clinic's Sports Program, Dr. Vlasta Brozičević, Assistant to the General Manager, Mrs. Iva Brozičević Dragičević, and specialize in Sports Traumatology, Dr. Christian Fink, and Dr. Christian Hoser, on behalf of the Gelenkpunkt Clinic.
The Gelenkpunkt Clinic is certified FIFA's center of excellence, which is also in charge of the health of Austrian skiiing team.
