Through PROPR conference meet two museums of Croatian Zagorje

Everything is ready for the 15th anniversary edition which will be held in Terme Tuhelj. In addition to the rich program content we have prepared additional tourist sightseeing in two well-known and very important historical museums in Croatia.

 

Krapina Neanderthal Museum  is located at the famous historical site of Hušnjakovo in Krapina and it is famous for the intriguing nation of Neanderthals. It is protected as the first paleontological monument of nature in Croatia. The museum will introduce you to the history and discover the secrets of the Krapina Neanderthal and his life at that time. A visit to the museum will be organized on Friday after the end of all lectures.

 

"Old Village" Kumrovec is the largest ethnographic "in situ" museum in Croatia that includes 40-preserved traditional buildings and gives us the opportunities to see the way of life at the end of the 19th century. It hides the secrets of traditional knowledge symbolizing crafts and customs of the Croatian Zagorje. A visit to the museum will be organized on Saturday after all lectures.
