New Braille printer for the Association of the Blind Persons Zagreb

Acknowledgments were given to the donors who helped with their generosity to acquire the new printer.

 

„Acquiring this printer, the members of the Association of the blind Zagreb, will be able to use printed informative materials and educational materials for the workshops being held at the Association. In that way we will be able to improve literacy of our membership and popularize Braille with the blind population. This printer will also be used to print materials which we use in our activities of familiarizing the public with the lives of the blind people, such as printing the alphabet to educate children and citizens, to sensitize the public about the problems which blind people face every day. “said the executive director of the Association, Goran Denis Tomašković. 

 

The ceremony was followed by the piano concert, played by maestro Josip Hrvoj, member of the Association. After the ceremony there was a reception with excellent cakes form bakery Torte i to and a visit to Typhlological museum and the dark chamber.
