The Center for Digital Literacy of the Blind and Visually Impaired

At the initiative of the Apriori World agency, the idea of establishing the Center for Digital Literacy of Blind and Visually Impaired was launched in the framework of the EU Directive on the Accessibility of Public Sector Websites and Mobile Applications. Apriori World was in charge of the preparation of strategic guidelines for raising 280,000 Croatian Kunas to equip the Center in accordance with the standards of the use of computers and laptops with the addition of the Braille keyboard.

After completing the education program, ten blind and partially sighted people are actively participating in examining and certifying websites of various institutions and companies, which are aligned with the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standards of the EU Directive. This project opens opportunities for creating a new model of social entrepreneurship.
