Stefan Milenković held a concert on Korčula and dedicated it to Oliver Dragojević

After the World Halls of Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center, the London Cadogan Hall, the Tokyo Suntory Hall and the La Fenice Theater in Venice, last night, as a part of the International Marco Polo Art Festival, in the Korčula Cathedral of St. Marcus the world-renowned violinist Stefan Milenković held a concert. He is known as the miracle of a child who at the age of 16 had already held the 1000th Concert, won the International Competition of Young Artists and received rewards at 10 major international violin competitions and also participated in gala concerts for UNESCO with Placido Domingo, Lorin Maazel, and Sir Yehudi Menuhin. He also taught at Julliard in collaboration with Itzhak Perlman.

Last night he played a recital on the violin of Giovanni Battista Guadagnini from 1783, inspired by the anniversaries of great musicians – Claude Debussy (100 years since death), Sergei Prokofiev (65 years since death) and George Gershwin (120 years since death) who with their opus forever marked the history of music, especially in the 20th century. Besides them, the concert was dedicated to the recently deceased Oliver Dragojević, and for this reason, at the very beginning of the concert, Stefan Milenković received a long applause and ovations of all those gathered in the cathedral of St. Marcus, which was full to the last place.
