”Slavonika” – 3rd national agriculture conference

On March 6 2018, the 3rd National Agricultural Conference “Slavonika” will be held at the Agricultural Faculty in Osijek. The organizer of the conference is the Apriori World agency, supported by the Faculty of Agriculture in Osijek, the Faculty of Agriculture in Zagreb, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as an institutional partner.

It is expected that the conference, whose motto is Inspiring Agriculture, will gather more than 350 participants this year. Along with the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Croatia, the conference will be opened by the Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Tomislav Tolušić.
 
"Slavonika" is the only national agricultural conference that connects all age and professional groups in the agricultural chain, in accordance with program content. The conference will be attended by representatives of ministries, agricultural agencies, institutes, representatives of associations, farmers and representatives of OPGs, academic community, students of agricultural studies, students of agricultural high schools, county and city departments for agriculture and the media.
 
The aim of the conference is to make conclusions and solutions that will help Croatian farmers to create better and stronger agriculture as a key factor in the development of the Croatian economy. Some of the topics at this year's conference are "Positive and Corrective Measures of Agricultural Policy", "Examples of Young Farmers", "How Young Farmers See Croatian Farming?", "Financial Instruments in Agriculture" and all participants will be able to take part in workshops on "Animal Welfare", "Producer Organization" and Why and How to Bring Croatian Agricultural Products? ". The conference will also present an example of a successful Taiwanese program that can serve as an inspiration for our farmers.
