PRO PR Awards ”Transparency in communication”

Croatian County Association chaired by Mr. Goran Pauk, mayor of the Šibensko – kninska county, is awarded recognition PRO PR Globe Awards „Transparency in communication“ for the project „Open budget“. With this project in an open way proactive information and communication with the public by giving information at the request of the citizen according to the opinion organizational board for the first time are at the national level communicated in a simple and understandable way financial aspects public institutions system in this case all of Croatian counties united in Croatia County Association, as a carrier of the project „Open budget“.
Transparency and openness are a necessary aspect of work every public administration 21th century. Project implementation „Open budget“ the foundations are laid an example of good practice transparency according to the citizens and that project in its entirety in two way communication and all communication process within the Croatian County Association and all of citizens presented as an example of good practice which we should follow all the factors of public administration which make the service of citizens.

The primary goal of the project „Open budget“, is in a unified way to present visualization county budgets by all qualifications in order to be understandable to all citizens and to understand it and those who are not financial experts. „Research of the Institute for public finance it certainly important and we are proud of the results. But organizations that do not change and they do not develop – they are stagnant and can't be worn with the challenges of the modern world. We live in the age when people are expecting to have them all at your fingertips or to get information can come in two clicks with the mouse. That's why it seemed to us „Open budget“ a step further in promoting transparency and this recognition proves that we were right.
