One of the main problems facing Croatia, which slows down its economic development, is the decrease in population and the emigration of young people. The remaining of people in rural areas represents the biggest problem for Croatia and its economic development. “LIČANKA” is a conference that is organized with the aim of bringing together the farmers of Lika-Senj County, which is diverse in terms of agricultural cultures, but has nevertheless created a certain identity through its cultures. Now is the time to raise public awareness of the importance of agriculture for the Croatian economy under the motto “inspire agriculture”, but also to enable stronger connections between farmers, companies, and political elites.
