Guidelines for Croatian agriculture – Minister Tolušić will open the conference

On Tuesday, 7 March 2017, Osijek will become the national agricultural center. Specifically, the Faculty of Agriculture will be held the second national agricultural conference “Slavonika”.

It is expected that the "Slavonika" will bringing together 300 participants, with key institutions and individuals who will give new guidance for Croatian agriculture, bearing in mind its disadvantages, but also advantages in a time where we are now.
 
The conference will be opened by the envoy of Prime Minister of the Croatian Government, the Minister of Agriculture Mr. Tomislav Tolušić. It is expected the arrival of the president of the Croatian Chamber of Agriculture, Mr. Mate Brlošić, President of the Parliamentary Committee of Agriculture, prof. Ph. D. Davor Romić, a representative of the European Parliament, Ms. Marijana Petir, director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Slovakia, Ms. Vedrana Jelušić Kašić and many others.
 
Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR) provided the first 100 free registration for participants. HBOR, as the Croatian development and export bank, a large part of its activities focus in credit programs to encourage the development of agricultural production. Through budget funds HBOR can finance the preparation of agricultural production, and investment in fixed assets or in permanent crops. For agricultural producers there are also available credit program for closing the financial construction of projects financed from EU funds. HBOR has only in the last year supported more than 200 projects with the amount of more than 500 milion kunas.
 
At the end of "Slavonika" all participants will have opportunity to hear key guidelines of the future of Croatian agriculture.
