Fun Park Biograd opens its door

After the winter break, Fun Park Biograd opens its door tomorrow, April 6th, at exactly noon. In addition to the attractive entertainment on the stage and in the park itself, this season’s first visitors will also be welcomed by the new attraction, the XD Dark Ride also called the 7D cinema, located next to the park itself.

The XD Dark Ride is the world's first interactive and reactive game that takes you to a dynamic driving experience in virtual reality. In 2013, the game won the prestigious IAAPA Award for Best New Product. Using laser sensors, visitors will be able to defend themselves from the various surprises they will encounter on their virtual voyage. This virtual game is tailor-made for families who want to run away from everyday life and spend a fun time with their children. It is also great for first "date", birthday celebrations and corporate team building.

This year, in addition to pure adrenaline fun, Fun Park Biograd completes its amusement program to further present its stories about the Universe, the Pirates, and the Wild West. "We are following the global trends in the theme parks market. That includes adding content where people will learn some interesting facts about the universe, the oceans, and the diverse world cultures while waiting for their favorite ride or when they are slowly ending their adventure in our park. This way, we will add value to our to school groups offer. For all of us, the stories are very important, and we want to tell them in a different way. The first such encounter with the idea of storytelling our visitors will have tomorrow when we will present our new, illustrated website based on the story's idea, which is a clear positioning and original conceptual solution that was created the team we work with. In the season, the great backbone of our program will be introducing Croatian culture to tourists" said Toni Jeričević, Director of Marketing and Sales at Fun Park Biograd, who spent the past two years in China working for Walt Disney Company in Beijing – Shanghai where the technologically most advanced Disneyland in the world is located.

For the complete and original entertainment, another former Disney employee, Sean Keohane, is entrusted with the job of coordinating and completing another attraction, "House of Horror". Sean Keohane will also be a member of the animation set throughout the season and will entertain visitors with his cheerful dolls, both in English and Croatian language. Sean Keohane is the director of the Pinocchio Marionette Theater, an American company that has performed puppet performances throughout the United States since 2001. Sean was a writer and director at the Walt Disney theme park in Orlando, Florida, and a show program director at Disney’s "Animal Kingdom".

For park visitors, it is recommended to use the pre-season discount on tickets to avoid summer crowds. This way, Fun Park Biograd has further enhanced the Croatian tourist offer.
