FOCUS International Conference on Innovation and Communication in Public Administration

"In the last 20 years, on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, various seminars and workshops have been held in relation to the communication processes in which over a million and a half euros, in my estimation, have been donated and spent. I would dare to say that even more than 70% of those who decide, are still underestimating the role of those who work in the public relations of public institutions and public companies. All these seminars and workshops have not so far integrated all the staff in public administrations and public companies in one place. This is precisely the goal of FOCUS, because it is time for the public relations profession and those who carry out the duties of managers, referents and counterparts in Bosnia and Herzegovina to start to be more valued in the public administration system, "said Chairman of the Organizing Board, Danijel Koletić.

 

The organizer does not expect more than 70 participants since this is the first such conference and that the awareness of politicians who decide to fund such programs is unfortunately very small to include those who communicate and manage their reputation as well as various institutions and agencies and their projects.

 

Only true political leaders and directors understand the mission, importance and role of public relations as the goal of every employee in the sector is to serve the people. Unfortunately, the situation is more than ever critical, not only in that sector but also in private sector, as Bosnia and Herzegovina does not have an active public relations association. Communications are the key to success and understanding because employees in public administration and public companies should not be there for their own sake, but for the people and the service of the people, and for that very reason, this conference is held closer to people.
