Dr. Zehra Güngör receives the PRO PR Award
The prominent Turkish PR expert and Past President of the International Public Relations Association, Dr. Zehra Güngör received the PRO PR Award which was presented to her by Mr. Danijel Koletić, President of the PRO PR Awards Commission.
Dr. Zehra Güngör is one of the 23 public relations experts who in 2018 received this award which has been dedicated to the professionals who contributed to the development of the public relations and communication profession. The PRO PR Awards were established in 2012, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the PRO PR Conference, the first public relations conference in Southeast Europe.
In the past 7 years, 128 communication experts from all over the world were rewarded with the PRO PR Award, and Dr. Güngör is the second rewarded expert from Turkey. Four years ago, the PRO PR Award was also presented to Mr. Betul Mardin, the pioneer of PR in Turkey.
The gala ceremony was organized in April of this year in Zlatibor, Serbia. However, due to the business obligations, Dr. Güngör was not able to attend the ceremony. That is why she received her award today in Istanbul's office of Ajans Press Group.
